Drool Lily
For tennis lovers who read the blog - and I know there's at least two - I recommend you Drew Lilley.
He's not the next tennis prodigy from America who's going to dispose Nadal of his crown this year. In fact, Drew Lilley's not even a player. He provides live updates on the official Roland Garros website.
The live updates on the website work almost like the Gamecast on Soccernet, except for the one major drawback that there's no automatic refresh. Drew churns out witty updates/comments every 15minutes or so and for that, I think he makes for a pretty good alternative to blog readings, which considering how seldom people update their blogs these days, do not take me even 15minutes to finish reading all the updates each morning.
Ironically, I feel that Drew Lilley is at his wittiest when on-court actions have been disrupted by rain. His entertaining updates on the weather situation at the venue, for me at least, eases the sian-ness brought by the downpours. So, if weather forecasts are to be trusted, then we should be reading Drew Lilley at his wittiest for the rest of the week.
P.S. I have spent at least 3 hours queuing for a 10euros ticket into Roland Garros for the last 2 days without success. I suppose it's the price to pay for entering the Centre Court for free on Saturday.
