Monsieur, quelle heure est-il?

Honfleur will be remembered not only as the place where I spent a night by a big bassin of water, but also the place where I bought Mysthique. Mysthique is special because it costs 200euros. There ain't too many things I own that cost more than 200euros.

I parted with the 200euros because there was a 60% discount for Mysthique which meant that her original price was 500euros. Extravagant, I definitely was. And also out of my usual stingy self as Yeejia would attest to it.

After 8 months in the same room as my senior, his clothes-make-the-man philosophy is starting to rub off me. There is an inner calling in me recently to discard my vagabond look, to lock up my ethnic clothings, bermudas and the wooden Brazillian earring from Montpellier in exchange for long-sleeved shirts and pants, to be, eventuellement, topped off with Mysthique. I reckon this calling comes from an urge to fit into the Parisien society where dressing-smart-looking-good rather than dressing-with-attitude-looking-original prevails. Should I change to fit or should I not change to save?

In any case, Mysthique was worth the money because her recommended retail price on the Newton & Sons' website is 1150euros. Whether she can really last the passing of time will only be known with the passing of time.

Mysthique is cool too. So cool that I feel my hand unworthy of it, that I have kept it in my cupboard waiting for the right time to showcase it. While Mysthique still hasn't had the opportunity to be unveiled in the real world, may she revel in the virtual world. Presenting to you, Mysthique:

P.S. Post inspired by the lost watch of Quek.
