Chye can cook, so can you!
It wasn't that the internet man did not activate my internet port. My senior, Roy, tried to access the net with my internet port this afternoon and he was able to connect. The worst thing was that he did it using my cable, which means that the most probable reason why I could not, and still cannot access the net is due to a problem with 'the hole by the side of my laptop'.
I had forced my cable - deep as it could go - into the hole, moved it up and down, left and right but my laptop still says 'A network cable is unplugged'. With no one else to turn to for help, I had sent an SOS to the internet man and I am hoping he will forgive me for wronging him and fix my hole.

To the subject.
Yesterday, there was a dinner organised in central Paris for the second year students of my school. Roy is a second year student so I was left alone in the room, with the need to prepare
my own dinner. I would say that it was a good thing that I had the opportunity to try out my own cooking because the day will soon arrive when I will have to cook for the 2 of us.
Below is the picture of what I had cooked yesterday.
There was rice, veg with mushrooms and omelete fried with hotdog and crab meat. Looks not bad, right?
But as always, appearances are deceiving. The veg was too oily, mushrooms chao4 da4 (because as I found out today, mushrooms need to soak in water first before can fry) and omelete too salty. Only the rice was alright. Nonetheless...
Everything was wiped out. Which inspired the latest wise saying from Chye, 'A father tiger will never eat his child, but a man will always eat finish the food he cooked.'
