theres another 5 more hours to go before my flight back to paris, so ive decided to attempt a post using the czech keyboard in front of me. the one-year-ago-chye would probably be very frustrated using this keyboard but the stay in france has brought me to accept the fact that not all keyboards are qwerty. this one in front of me, for instance, is qwertz and numbers have to be typed with ´shift´ else they give czech characters like č-ě-š-ř-ž.

theres supposed to be 24 hours in a day but it seemed like i had only 24 hours in my past 8 and a half days. i meant to say that it felt like only yesterday when yeejia and i were on the sound of music tour in salzbourg when in fact, that was already one week ago.

this trip has been reallie good except that i was forced to limp down the streets of vienna, cěsky krumlov and prague for the last 5 days because the pair of lafuma i bought at queensway with guan wasnt too kind on my heels and ankles. i tried to remedy the problem wiith hanseplasts but they cost me 7 euros and had no help in regaining my normal walking abilities at all.

my favourite leg of this tour is salzbourg. its a rather small city enveloped within mountain ranges and its so beautiful, and the people are so nice, that it made me reconsider my dream of setting up a hostel in nepal. i might do that now in salzbourg instead. vienna and prague are nice but they remind me too much of paris. vienna is as dirty and prague is as human congested. cezky krumlov is just a goodgetaway place - nice to be there for a day or two but you would find it hard to sustain your enthusiasm if you were to stay there forever. however, the best italian pasta ive ever tasted is found there and i will return there one day if just to have a plate of their taglietto al paccino again (the name of the pasta is probably incorrect).

the prague airport staff are eyeing my terminal so i shall just terminate here and grant them their moments of chaokeng. may this good deed on the last day of 06 brings me good luck and fortune in 07=)

p.s. after 8 days sans internet, it was great to read abt tat´s christmas experience with pickpockets and police, which reminded me of the marina square and china girls=p and also to know that carribean and christmas are part of the formula to miracles. quek, welcome to the A club(as titled by junsheng)
